Terms of use

Wingman controls live sound equipment. These terms explain what we provide, what you're responsible for, and how plans work.

Last updated October 12, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Brandon Bilsborough, doing business as One Sanctuary (“Wingman”, “we”, “us”) for the Wingman app for iPad and iPhone, Wingman Hub for Mac, Wingman Cloud and this website (together, “Wingman”). By using Wingman you agree to them. If you use Wingman for an organisation, you agree on its behalf.

If you got the app from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Where the two differ, these terms apply to the extent the law allows.

1. Using Wingman

We give you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable licence to use Wingman with consoles you're allowed to control. Don't copy, resell or reverse engineer Wingman Cloud, try to get around plan limits, or use our AI service for anything other than Wingman's own features.

2. You're in charge of the console

Wingman can change settings on a live console, including levels, routing, EQ, mutes and scenes. It has a read‑only lock and asks before larger changes, but you're responsible for what happens to your console, your sound system and the people listening.

  • Check changes before you rely on them, especially during a show.
  • Room tuning, ring‑out and the console oscillator can produce loud test signals. Warn people in the room and protect your speakers.
  • Protect hearing. In‑ear mixes from Wingman Listen go straight into people's ears. Start low, keep a limiter on the mix, and make sure each listener can turn their own level down.
  • Wingman Listen runs over WiFi. Delay and dropouts depend on your network. Have a backup for performances where monitoring is critical.

3. AI features

Ask Wingman, EQ suggestions and room analysis use AI and can be wrong. Treat what they suggest as a suggestion, and confirm any change yourself. Each plan includes a monthly AI allowance; when it runs out, AI features pause until the next month. We may limit very high or unusual use to protect the service.

4. Accounts

You don't need an account to mix. Pro and Team need one. Keep your sign‑in secure, give accurate details, and tell us if someone else uses your account. You can delete your account in the app at any time.

5. Plans and payment

  • Pro and Team are subscriptions bought through Apple. They renew automatically until you cancel in your Apple ID settings, at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • Apple handles billing and refunds under its own terms.
  • Team covers up to 8 people and one Wingman Hub for Wingman Listen. The person who buys it owns the team, controls who's on it, and is responsible for its use. If the subscription ends, Team features stop for everyone; phones already listening aren't cut off mid‑session.
  • We may change prices or what's included. Changes to a subscription you already have take effect at renewal, after notice through Apple.

6. Your content

What you type, say or save in Wingman stays yours. You give us permission to process it only to run the features you use, as our privacy policy describes.

7. Third parties

Wingman works with equipment and services we don't control, including Behringer WING consoles, Apple's platforms and Anthropic's AI service. Wingman isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Behringer or Music Tribe, and console firmware changes may affect what Wingman can do.

8. Changes and availability

We're improving Wingman all the time and may add, change or remove features. We aim to keep Wingman Cloud available but can't promise it will always be. Mixing doesn't depend on it.

9. Disclaimer

Wingman is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non‑infringement. We don't promise that Wingman will be error‑free or uninterrupted, or that it will work with every console, firmware version or network.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost revenue, data, or damage to equipment or hearing arising from use of Wingman. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Wingman in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

11. Ending these terms

You can stop using Wingman and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or misuse the service. Sections 2, 3, 6, 9, 10 and 12 continue after these terms end.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict‑of‑law rules. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.

13. Changes to these terms

We'll update the date above when these terms change and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using Wingman after a change, the new terms apply.
